The beauty of minimal life that i cherish

Today is another peaceful raining day in my place. Although it's not a heavy rain, its been pouring out nicely all day since the night before. The rain watering the whole soil and plants in my neighborhood generously. Now i have an excuse to save my water and not taking time to water my plants in the yard. :p - A week has passed since the rainy season arrived in my hometown. I believe in a few days, many new greens will sprout and cover the dried hill near my house. Consistency always adds up and bring visible results, rainy season is no exception. It's difficult to do something consistently, just as the minimal life i'd like to pursue in my daily life right now.

I always love the concept of minimal lifestyle. Organized things, clean house, neat table... Though sometimes organizing and cleaning seems stressful for me. But it makes my heart content once i'm done doing it. Even so, I can't call my self a 'minimalist' yet. I often have a hard time to throw things i already had. I always unconsciously attached my self on things. In the other hand, i love to have less things. It's easier to cleaning when you don't have many things on top of the table or shelves. Less things also will reduce the time we spend on looking and organized things. Maybe those were some of the reasons why i always think 3-4 times before buying any 'tempting but not really needed' items. Very often we find our space piled up with stuff we don't really need. I also might have to give up my (still nice) old things to give some space for my new things. I want to fill my storage nicely without overloading them.

Themed color interior is pretty. Hanging a little artsy stuff in the wall corner is cute. Fancy cooking stuff is tempting. But I think its better to pursue a simple enjoyable life with what i already have rather than buying and wasting things, trying to fit into minimal lifestyle. I'd like to fill my space with things i appreciate and cherish.

Above it all, i want to spend more time on things i want to do rather than housework. It supposed to be easier to keep a simple lifestyle if you genuinely love and enjoy it. Remember to always put your things back on their own place. Wash your dirty dishes immediately after use. Don't let it piled up! Small habit like that will make a big difference and help you to make your space always look neat and sleek. Minimal life need self commitment and discipline.

I used to hear that its difficult to keep a simple lifestyle due to family member with conflicting lifestyle. Sometimes seeing stuffs that aren't returned in its place does bothers me and kicks up my organizing instinct. But if it's my family personal things, i'm trying not to move it unless they give me permissions. I have to respect their space and only interfere in areas where i can/may do. I'd be great if they can participate, but never force your lifestyle in to someone else's so you can achieve your lifestyle goals. Just like anyone else, you won't be happy if someone force something you don't cherish, on to yours. Just because they don't share the same lifestyle goals with you, it doesn't mean you can't go for a sustainable simple life.

Sometimes, we need to look back to see the main reason why we want to have a simpler lifestyle. With clear goals and mindset, it will be easier to achieve it with our own way. I.. Enjoy the relaxation that i derived from a simple life i do. How's yours? What kind of lifestyle do you love? :)

When some people claim their self that they have a perfect life, it doesn't literally mean that everything on their life is perfect and going well. Instead of it, it shows how good they could dealing with the 'unhappy' part of their life and through it well. Having a perfect life or the imperfect one is depend on the way we oversee our mind. If we think further about it, maybe there are some things that we need to remind ourselves :

1. You are not the most unfortunate and suffer person in in the world.

Don't be too excessive, please. World population has reach more than 7.2 billion now days and there's none single one of them have never experienced problems in their life. Everyone does have problems,  its just a choice whether they want to show it on their public life or not. And there are so many people out there who suffering from deathly ill, lost the life of their loved one, facing the cruelty of war, etc, which are have to bear their problems thousand times heavier than yours. So that, encourage yourself to be stronger. I don't say that you are forbidden to cry. When crying could make you feel better, go on. Just remember that you should not be sad for too long, particularly when your sad-me-time starting to evolve into depression phase. Yes, sometimes we feel uneasy with some problems we have, but lets consider it as a challenge that we must going through and keep doing our best to make it solved by the right way.

2. Be grateful on what you already have.

It commonly happens : we got too focus on the hapless problem thing-i, we forgot to count the blessings we already have (not to mention the other case when envy also began to permeate. Grass on the other side of fence is always greener, isn't it? oh yes. That is -mostly- our humankind basic nature. haha). You may have ever heard this proverb : above the sky there's always another sky. If you got what that proverb means, you probably won't mind if i add this : and down below there were so many people who can only dream to stand on the sky you're stepping on right now. What i want to say is we have to always be thankful on what we have, instead of what we don't or should have. Cherish, love and take care things that we belong to. Because once it lost, we may not be able to have it back.

3. Life keeps go on, be steady.

When life comes to you and brings thousand reasons to be cried, welcome it with your warm heart and return it with million reasons to be smiled. I do know real life is not as simple and easy as it looks on that one line. But truthfully, be happy or the otherwise, is a matter of fact which is (unwittingly) a form of our own preferences with the state of our mind. Our mind is the main controller of our emotions, desires and actions. It means when you could control your mind, you will control your emotions, your desires and your actions as well. Try to always be aware of yourself that no matter how severe your problems are or how tough do you feel to pass it through, it won't stop the world from spinning around the sun. Time keeps ticking and life keeps go on. They won't wait for you. Stop yourself from keep being stuck with the same problems, try both to think and do some positive things. Every time your mind start to walk out of your control, remind yourself that you will pass these, just like how you have overcame all your problems in the past. Get your worries away because humans are the creatures of learners. We do learn, we do solve. Everything will eventually be okay in the end.

You need to set a happy mind in order to live happily. Love your life and life will love you back. Do good, Be Good.

Live is a journey and only you who hold your own map

That everyone have hopes and dreams, they also have to face the obstacles in the journey on pursuing theirs. One of many obstacles for people pursuing their dreams is that they have a believing that things they hopes and dreams for, won’t work. That it won't be happened. For many cases, it even happens before they start trying to pursue. It is because they’ve already determined that some odds are against them. All of these stuffs can be a bit overwhelming, but yes it does happen in the real life.

We have to realize that there are 3 things we need to have to achieve goals of our dreams. Opportunity, hard work and luck. These three components are relate each other and have to exist in order to accomplishing the goals. Anywhere the opportunity is exist, don't get hesitate to work on it by start over the preparation and do the implementation of the planning well, do it as best as you can. While Luck, happens when hard work meets the opportunity in sinergy.

So what happened in many cases when people have struggling so hard to pursue their dreams but it stand still haven't work yet? Does it means they are failure and have to stop pursuing their dreams? In these terms, there are so many possibilities may have a hand involved in it. It may happen because the opportunity isn't exist yet, or they contemplating the wrong opportunity, setting an improper plan, implementing a strategy which goes too far beyond the basic plan, making a bad decision in unpredictable situation, or any others. Some other reasons may because they still haven't sure yet about what their real dreams were. Nevertheless, don't make your self too rush judging all things has happened as a grave of your dreams. You don't know how far or how close you are to your goal at that time. As long as the opportunity is still there, sometimes it is okay to turn left, to turn right or even to turn around, finding another way to going thru to meet your goal. Remember that the road does not always run just straight.

Do not see failure or success as the only end goal when it comes about pursuing your dreams. In the real life, many people falls into a gray area and dream-chasing is no exception. View life as a big maps of your journey where what happens along the way is just as important as reaching the end goal. You would receive lot of experiences which u can learn. You may also developed some great skills on your way going thru the journey. It is a good chance for yourself to grow and going mature; and it’s very life-affirming.  

Pursuing the dreams can take a lot of courage and dedication to do. All the experiences we get along the journey will make every bits of the effort we put into it worthwhile. That's why for every opportunity is wide open, why don't we try to pursue our dreams? – no matter what.

Hi There.

Its June already. 

Time keeps ticking and we always running out of it. People use to treat time as their very valuable thing in life. That's why we don't want to lose every second of our time. But sometimes, we are too busy trying to use time as efficient as we could that we forget to live in it. And by the time we finally realize it, time doesn't coming back.

If I end up lonely, at least I will be there knowing that I believe in love

Most of people have ever experienced being hurt. sad. abandoned by love. Maybe you were also one of them. But, we often to hear this words : “It’s better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all” and you’re like, “okay, fine.” Love makes you become vulnerable. Open up your heart means allowing someone walk in to your heart and mess it up. Most of people become an idiot when it comes to the matters of heart. Sometimes, you love someone without knowing how, or when, or from where. You just... feel very happy and comfort every time you talk to him/her. You always excited to meet him/her. You try your best to spare your precious time for him/her. You miss him/her when you stay apart.

And once when you broke, you felt deeply sad. hurt. depressed. betrayed. and the worst is, lonely. Erasing your memories with him/her seriously took time, like forever. You start to distrust love. Saying "I've had enough to experience this. I will never ever want to feel it again."

You are possible to love someone and he/she loves you back, but ended broken up because any kind of causes, any kind of reasons. Sometimes people lost their love in the middle journey of their relationship. You are also possible to love someone who doesn’t love you back. It’s not a full love. It doesn’t have the whole experience of being loved, but it’s still there.

But, is it really okay for you to live without love? 

Its true only few people can meet their happy ending in their first try. But isn't it worth to fall for several times though its hurt, as the process to finally find your true love in the last? Love actually helps you become more mature. You grow and learn from it. You learn about how to give, how to trust, how to respect and how to share your life with other people.

 

Never fear to begin a love once you are ready (not when you are lonely). Do not afraid to get the possibility of being broken. Its not love who break your heart. You just have to find the right person to share your heart with.

Don’t be embarrassed if you’ve never been in love before. You have a ton of company. 

If it's between love and losing

there are some days when you do feel not okay. when you feel life go against you and you just sat there, try to digest everything happened while realized that there weren't much things you can do about it. waited and worried what life will bring you to. 

embrace yourself and wake up. there's nothing about yesterday you can change and there's nothing about tomorrow you can predict. just live your life well, improve yourself, do the best and be a better person.

My Daddy, My Hero

a father is always be his daughter's first love...

Many young women dream to be accompanied by their father in their wedding day. It is the most moving moment for father and daughter hand in hand, because father always protect his beloved daughter since she was child and in that day, finally he will hand on his daughter to another man who will protect and love her someday. This wishes also being Paige's dream. Yesterday, i read a true story review from a page in my facebook. I found it interesting so i ended reading the original source which told the complete story. 

Paige Eding is a 23 years old young woman which just held her wedding a month ago on 7 June 2013. Unfortunately, she can't made her dream came true to have her dad walk her down the aisle because she lost him 2 years ago on December 14th, 2011. Mark Winia, Paige's father, the chef who coached the Zeeland East High School girls' soccer team, unexpectedly passed away because of a severe pulmonary virus which essentially a fierce lung infection. That incident really giving shock to the whole family and change their life forever.

On December 1st, 2012, almost a year after her dad passed away, Paige wrote a post in a facebook page made by families and friends, dedicated to her beloved father. She wrote : "Wow Dad. Today I lost it. All day (I) couldn't help thinking about you, every second. And I could not help the steady stream of tears down my cheek. I miss you so much and it hurts like it was just yesterday. Thank goodness for Kevin, an knowing exactly how to comfort and help me. We love and miss you terribly."

On December 12th, 2012, Paige's little sister, Danae Winia, wrote "Daddy, I miss you so much! I haven't posted anything for a while because I have been so out of it lately and I can't believe it's been a year an already! How did I come this far without you? I have no idea..... but you have taught me so many things in life as and I miss all of those memories! I wish you would just come back or that I could see you some how! But most of all, I wish that this Friday wasn't the first year anniversary for you death...... I live you so much dad, hope to see you real soon, 12-14-11 R.I.P"

Right on the 1st passed away anniversary of her dad, December 14th 2012, the entire families and friends was held a candle light walk from Mark's home to the cemetery. They share their memories and tears as their let sky laterns floated up into the sky with messages they want to send to Mark. They speak to him everyday already, but yet it still felt very special, powerful and meaningful event so they would like all families and friends to attend. 

On April 14th, 2012, Paige wrote another post : "Sometimes I have these dreams that things went differently and you are still here with us. Nothing has changed and you are so warm and so real. These dreams I could swear they are real I can almost feel the emotion of them. Then I wake up to reality. I miss you so much dad. It's days like these when I know you will be comforting me because today I'm so broken. Love you."

Right on the Paige's wedding day, June 07 2013, Robin Leigh Bartz, Paige's mother, also wrote a post for her beloved husband in the memorial page : "Today is the day Mark, I will proudly give our daughter away. Knowing Kevin is a great man, and Paige is an amazing woman, i know you will be there watching, Heather will proudly stand on your behalf. Much love, Robin."

On her wedding day, her grandfather took over her father place standing by her side. Right in time after her wedding ceremony, Paige requested to make a stop at the cemetery where her beloved father was buried. She is so overcome with emotion standing in front of her father's grave, dressed on her beautiful white gown on her wedding day, crumbled to her knees. That heart-wrenching moment was captured by Kari Wieringa, her wedding photographer from Michigan, unnoticed by Paige. But with Paige's approval, the photo which exhibit her deep love to her father, is permitted to be published online. Paige said it was okay because she wanted to have that lasting memory. She added, "It was a moment of longing and wishing for him. I was so sad that he wasn't there physically ... but I was also joyous. ... Through my family, he still lives inside of each one of us."

Paige believed that her father would have approved Kevin, her new husband, the kind-hearted man who always be there for convince her facing the loss of her dad. She also said, "I've got my dad and my new husband. If she only took those two photos, I would be happy in life. Kevin and my dad, they're so alike. When's the sun's not shining they'll be your sun. It's a quality that I love to remember in my dad and that I'm so lucky to have in my husband."

I was deeply moved when I read her story. She love her father so much and she completely understand the meaning of the presence of a father in every daughter's wedding day. Yet, she could face it wisely.  Congratulations for the wedding, Paige and Kevin. I hope you both will have a whole new happy family :)

Being old is a certainity but being mature is a choice

Age is something we could not run or avoid of. It keeps moving whether we want it or not. As we age, we will have to take lot of decisions more than when we were young. As we age, we will enrich our experiences and so is our knowledge. Being old is something that everyone who live will passing through for sure. But how about being mature? Soon i realize. The same chance didn't mean that everything would be back as before

There are some times when we thought we knew better about something, that we have nicely understood it. But when we try to look further, we soon realize that in fact we barely knew about it. Time changes everything and we have nothing to do to change it all.

One of the best things we can do in our lives is this: begin again.
Begin to see yourself as you were when you were the happiest and strongest you've ever been.

Begin to remember what worked for you and what worked against you,
and try to capture the magic again.

Begin to remember how natural it was when you were a child - to live a lifetime each day.

Begin to forget the baggage you have carried with you for years:
the problems that don't matter anymore,
the tears that cried themselves away,
and the worries that are going to wash away
on the shore of tomorrow's new beginning.

Tomorrow tells us it will be here every new day of our lives;
and if we will be wise, we will turn away from the problems of the past
and give the future - and ourselves - a chance to become the best of friends
Sometimes all it takes is a wish in the heart to let yourself...

People come and go, but the memories don't

People often tend to be ignorant and selfish, forgetting the good thing that others have ever done for them. we frequently begin to realize someone's goodness when they've gone. and memories bring all of them back. why don't we try to always preserve our attitude to all people around us while they are still there...?

Time goes fast, doesn't it?

I felt that September was just a month ago, it was right when i came back to my hometown and watched a complete stories about 9/11's replay tragedy in NGC while doing my thesis. I spent my whole day to watch its stories. But on these two days, the other ads for aired back of the same replay tragedy has been shown again. Hey, another September has come back. Wake up lazy guurrrl, it has been another year!

May be i should live my day more mindful from now on and start to be more focus. A day spent with more lively may change a lot of thing in our life isn't it? We may miss an important moment just by passing a single day. Or maybe even a single minute. Oh Mr. Time i'm sorry for wasting you so much before, please gimme back those many precious moments i've missed :'(

Having deeper thought about how fast did the time goes, i remembered that i always answer all the questions about my age proudly with an assured voice 2 years back then. But now? DON'T YOU EVEN DARE TO ASK ABOUT IT! I've been a little more sensitive to talk about my age right now, HAHA Start to feel old already!

Anyway as usual, I have one song for u to hear.

So inspiring and giving a lot of encouragement. :)

I try to learn playing this song in piano version but its quite hard for me since i have just known a basic of playing keyboard.  I hope i can play well this song one day.

Long time no see! :)

Who loves to hear David Guetta's song? *wink* 

You know, Titanium is quite popular being covered among youtube stars now. Its mushrooming and showing up everywhere on youtube :)) but to be honest, I prefer to hear Sam Tsui's Titanium cover which collab with Kurt, rather than David ft Sia's ori version. xD DON'T ASK! I'm an accoustic-lover~ :P :P :P In case if u want to hear David's ori or Sam's version, u can find it here : David Guetta VS Sam Tsui :) and here is another titanium cover by Jason Chen. He is another fav youtube stars of mine :D

By the way guys, i did a lil' changed in my pages. Well, talk about live our life. We must not forget to always work hard in life, right? :) But do not forget to enjoy it too,guys. :D I & My fam love to go out every week-end together. :) Not intend to go on spree,okay. We just more concerned about spending time together and relaxing in pleasant way by walking out of the house, changing the situation. And thats fun anyway! :D :D :D Since we loved to enjoy the nature a lot, we often to spend our week-end around the beaches or any cooler places :D Thanks God we lived in place which have plenty of beautiful nature, so stunning! xD

Last Sunday, we spend our time in one of our fav places in Senggigi named Pasific Beach Hotel :D I love to go there! Not to stay of course :P just relaxing in their gazebo area and getting some snacks :) The place is very tranquil, completely awesome with their green park and their shore wind that blows a gentle breeze :D Their beach is not too pretty actually because they have a black sand :'( But its a perfect spot for seeing the Sunset! So Lovely ♥  Can't stand anymore for not taking pictures of them! :P Lets walking around :)

 

Thats a beautiful garden with bunch of flowers! I don't know what those big red flowers is named in latin, but local people usually call them cockscomb. They look similar like the crest of a cock, right. xD Lets zoom-zoom! 

Enjoyed a cup of sweet lemon tea while watching the sunset there would be so perfect! ♥

They have lot of beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. Remember my foliage & flower colections before? Half of the collections was taken from Pasific! :)

Don't ask me who it is! I don't know either. xD He just jumped out of nowhere when i took some photos around there and asked me to take a picture of him. Oh boy! :| But look, his expression is so funny! xD

Red dragonfly. Their colour are pretty eye-cacthing! Some of them flying around randomly when i'm taking some photos near the lotus. :) and i was so lucky can took some pictures of them closely :D Too poor that this dragonfly has a little torn on his left wing :'( But still, he's cool! :D

Stop. Thats the end of our tour, friend. :P Believed or not, i still haven't taken pic of the whole area. Too bad that the sunlight hidden somewhere before i finished the photo session :'(

 

Its true that Pasific Beach Hotel is not the best hotel in Lombok. Inspite of being built right in front of the beach, Pasific maybe just a 3 stars hotel with its traditional building design. Too far from Sheraton or other 5 stars hotel which stand around there. But i think its a worth place to be visited if u passes by. As far as i know, you will spend around $40 to $65 per-night for staying there, depends on the season and which room do you choose. Its not a bad price with all those pleasant, don't u think? :)
